Banana Bread (YUM!)
Ingredients Method
80g
Butter Pre-heat the oven to gas Mark 4
80g
Castor Sugar 180°C or 160°C for Fan assisted
30g Honey Lightly Butter a loaf tin
1 Large
Egg, Beaten
225g Self
Raising Flour
4 Ripe
Bananas
·
Cream the butter and castor sugar until light and fluffy Next add the honey and beat for another minute
Beat in the egg a little at a time
Sift the flour into this and fold with a metal spoon
In a separate bowl mash the bananas with a fork
Fold the mashed bananas into the cake mixture with a metal spoon and mix well
Spoon the mix into the buttered loaf tin and level the top
Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes
To test
if the bread is done stick a cocktail stick into the middle and if it comes out
clean its ready. Remove from the loaf tin and leave to cool on a wire rack.
Delicious
sliced and smothered in nutella.
